Things You Should Be Doing to Prevent Car Damage

The summer heat is upon us, and with it comes an increased risk of Car Damage. Whether it’s from the sun, or from the heat itself, your vehicle can be at risk of damage if you don’t take steps to prevent it.

Here are some tips to help keep your car safe:

  1. Keep your car in the shade as much as possible. You can even park your car in the garage during the day if you have one, but make sure that there’s enough room in there for you to get in and out of the car comfortably.
  2. Keep a cooler full of ice water in the backseat, so you can pour it over yourself when you get hot and sweaty!
  3. Don’t forget about your tires! Make sure they’re properly inflated (and check them every time before you take off on a long trip), because under-inflated tires will wear out more quickly and make driving more difficult on surfaces like sand or gravel roads that require extra traction from those tires’ treads on pavement surfaces like those found on highways and interstate highways where many people drive cars these days
  4. -Park in a Garage or under a covered area if possible. If not, park in a well-lit area with plenty of people around.
  5. -Use an alarm system on your vehicle. This will make it more difficult for someone to break into your vehicle and steal anything from it (or damage it).
  6. -Keep your keys with you at all times. Don’t leave them in the ignition or leave them in your purse or pocket when you walk away from the vehicle.
  7. -Check for any suspicious activity around your Vehicle before getting in and driving away. If there’s something amiss, don’t drive off!
